Yes it hasn't even been 24 hours and I'm back with another blog. Well I've been busy this morning. Since I got in full writer affect yesterday I've gone none stop. I wrote three poems yesterday all to the beat of Usher. "Love in this Club" Remix "Okay" "Here I stand" Yes I'm in a zone. This morning I completed the trailer for The Tension Reliever. It's HOT if you haven't seen it. I haven't spent a Saturday afternoon working like this in a long time. It feels so good to put my writer's hat back on! Until Next time.....

I'm Pregnant!!!!
Hello Poetry Lovers and more importantly, those that love my poetry.
Realistically, I'm not pregnant. But I am pregnant with another book and a few months from now, my baby will be born. I'm sure plenty of you nosey folks have seen the title of this blog on facebook or twitter and followed it trying to see if I'm really pregnant....well there's the truth...yeah I am....with another book!
I've been in the "itch" lately and finally the "itch" has taken over; I'm working on another book. I am releasing my second poetry book some time this winter and I'm ready to reveal another side of me. This blog "Almond Eyes Diva" has given you bits and pieces of who I am outside of Dominique, CEO, business woman, mother, wife. It's all me, naked vulnerable and realistic but in my second book I plan to give you just a little more.
So throughout my journey of writing I will update you on the process of writing "The Tension Reliever" Part Two. I plan to post blogs about my mood, names of poems I am writing, what has inspired me to write it and of course, what was playing in my ipod as I wrote the words.
I hope that you will follow me on this journey just to see how I birth one of my babies. It will be sexual, sensual, raw and of course all me.

No Place for Me
I stood in a room all by myself
I looked to my left
And then my right
And out of nowhere you were in sight
You saw me
I saw you
But when I reached for your hand
It was no longer what I knew
You’d forgotten about me
Acted as if you didn’t know me
I called your name
Such as shame
Nothing was the same
Finally I walked in your direction
Hoping for your affection
But all I got was your reflection
Walking past me
And out of my life
I guess my dream was right
You no longer live in my mind
