Still the reality of it is on my mind
Saying no to what once was
And every now and then the inner part of me still feels the tug
It seems like it was just yesterday when all was well
And the inner me wishes there was someone to tell
Reading between the lines will have to do
Because there’s no seeing, talking or hearing from you
I hate when I awake to my reality
Just to know you are there would be so nice
Everything would be alright
