The Tension Reliever part 2 has made it through two edits. It's done!!!!! Today I am working on the cover and once the cover is done it's headed to print!!!!

It will be here by the end of the year. Give me a few more weeks and I'll have a release date!

Hello Everyone!

It's been a few weeks, I know, I'm sorry. I've been dealing with some personal issues and if you know me well you know I'm a very private person. But I have not shied away from the Lord. He's had me and will keep me.

I took this morning to step away from my busines and focus on me as a writer. I've changed my author website to a new site. You know me, I love change. I've done my final edit for The Tension Reliever Part Two. Now I've got to tackle the cover and that will have to come at a later date when my mind is ready.

The outline for Dirty Money is finished and Darryl and I will be writing it soon. I am working on a book called Harmony but it's in the baby stages and won't be completed until I finish co writing Dirty money.

Anyway, that's it with me. How are you?? LOL

Hello everyone!!

I am currently editing The Tension Reliever Part 2. Almost to the finish line!!!! I'm so excited about this book. I don't think I've been this excited about a book. There's a first time for everything!

So once I finish the edit, I'll do a quick run through and make sure everything looks good and THEN......

It's time to do the cover. I have not revealed the cover to anyway and I'm going to keep it a secret until the book is about to come out. But the final touches will be put on it after the last edit and then it's off to print. I'll give you a release date soon.

Yes the book is done. I'm done adding poems and fixing content. I'm done!!!!! Dang that was fast. Ok so now I have to do a read through and edit. So give me about a month to get that done and go back through one more time and then it's off to production.

Now I have to work on the cover and I'm planning on making it HOT!!!!

Song I'm on right now is "Hot tottie"...I'm so cold....NAW I'm hot right now. lol Ok the way this is going the book will be done in no time. I have no idea what categories are coming next...maybe some dedication...Certain people might end up in my book....Naw I doubt that lol Special people only. So So Sorry!

I know it's been a minute. More like weeks. But your girl been busy. No I haven't worked on the book until now but my magazine had me crazy busy and I had to make some adjustments that took all of my attention. Not to mention I'm a mommy and my lil one takes up all my time with her little endeavors so yes I've been busy. But I'm working on it right now.

Need my Ears Plugged

It's my first day back to work. Really. I've been on vacation with my husband for about two weeks and have been on and off the computer; not really working but getting five or ten minutes of work in when needed. So today I decided to sit down in my office and work and I got some important things done but I'm tired and still in vaca mode so...not much work today.

I have decided to turn all of my previous books into ebooks in the near future. So if there's a book you haven't gotten yet, it will be in ebook format soon for a very low price.

I did work on my book a few days ago. Got some poems together. I still haven't written anything. I need to plug my ears up and get in a zone. I do feel the zone coming because I had a very good conversation with someone where I "Kept it 100" and I feel I need to release a little bit more soooo we'll see how it goes.

I'm in an Usher mood right now. Here I stand and Raymond vs. Raymond. So most likely that will motivate my zone.

I'm Pregnant!!!!

Hello Poetry Lovers and more importantly, those that love my poetry.

Realistically, I'm not pregnant. But I am pregnant with another book and a few months from now, my baby will be born. I'm sure plenty of you nosey folks have seen the title of this blog on facebook or twitter and followed it trying to see if I'm really pregnant....well there's the truth...yeah I am....with another book!

I've been in the "itch" lately and finally the "itch" has taken over; I'm working on another book. I am releasing my second poetry book some time this winter and I'm ready to reveal another side of me. This blog "Almond Eyes Diva" has given you bits and pieces of who I am outside of Dominique, CEO, business woman, mother, wife. It's all me, naked vulnerable and realistic but in my second book I plan to give you just a little more.

So throughout my journey of writing I will update you on the process of writing "The Tension Reliever" Part Two. I plan to post blogs about my mood, names of poems I am writing, what has inspired me to write it and of course, what was playing in my ipod as I wrote the words.

I hope that you will follow me on this journey just to see how I birth one of my babies. It will be sexual, sensual, raw and of course all me.
